I often use Twitter to look for artists, and I happened to come across Chan's work one day. Her artwork is exquisite, and I was taken aback by how fluid her line work is. After spending several minutes staring at a single image, I knew I had to work with her. Chan is diligent and a delight to work with.
I was incredibly lucky to meet Christa at a local Drink&Draw. After chatting about making comics, we have teamed up to work on several projects. Aside from being an amazing illustrator, Christa is also a great writer on her own. I am thankful that she has let me play with her characters and drawn images straight out of my imagination.
While researching webcomics, I ran into Orange Comic, by Christopher Bruce Johnson. The visuals and storytelling techniques he uses are so wonderful to look at. His digital painting style is hauntingly beautiful. I can never thank Chris enough for giving me some of his time. Please keep an eye out for his next project.
I was overjoyed when I stumbled upon Jack's character designs. Jack has tons and tons of talent, and I am just elated to be working with her on a project, Adventures in Nate's Perilous Challenge. Though I'm obviously biased towards her work on our project, Jack also works in a variety of different art styles, each wonderful in their own way.
Julian is a wonderful illustrator who has several distinct art styles. His color work ranges from soft muted tones to bright vibrant colors, but they are all a joy to behold. We have a one page comic under our belt and our collaborative efforts continue.
Leland Goodman was another amazing find while researching webcomics. Basement Dwellers is a webcomic with a touching story that Leland illustrates the heck out of. Aside from that Leland dabbles in film, design and video games. A veritable jack of all trades.
I stumbled upon Marek's work on Twitter. It was literally a carnival for my eyes. Marek is just oozing talent all over the internet. I don't want to be dramatic here, but a day without Marek's art is a complete waste of time and a failure of all human existence. In all seriousness, I am so grateful to have worked with Marek on a few projects. He is extremely generous with his time, and I hope for the best in his career. Please take a look at his Patreon, and support him if you can.
Savanna is a another wonderful artist I found on twitter. Savanna has added some wonderful colors to In The Giant's Tongue and is an amazing illustrator in her own right. Check out her awesome comic and illustration work!
Without Shawn Daley, I would be nowhere in comics. Shawn is one of the most kind and generous people I've ever worked with. He is quick on deadlines and absolutely professional. He takes on countless projects and never shies away from hard work. Check out his kickstarter success Terra Quill.
